ABOUT THE BLOG
"What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
When my mother died, she didn't leave much behind: a single backpack filled with her early writings, expired eye glasses, Racer cigarettes and a troll doll. She also left behind her poetry book, "I'll Go". It was her life's goal to be able to publish a poetry book. To finally tell the world her perspective, after years of being muffled by the sterile and invalidating opinions of those around her. The exhausting, inspiring way in which she persevered is what inspires me to perpetuate honesty through the written word.
My goal, too, is to have my observations, experiences, and musings on life published, if only for the sake of reminding others that I stand with them in solidarity through the crazy minefield of existence. I figured a blog would be a good place to start.
I look forward to hearing from those who reach out (and, please do)!
